In terms of sustainability our aim is to develop commercial space that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. We make every effort to reduce environmental impact through the use of sustainable materials and energy efficient technology

Minimum 15% rooflights to increase natural light
Minimum of 10% Electric Vehicle Charging car park spaces
Use of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems
LED lighting with Passive Infrared Sensors where appropriate
Air Source Heat Pumps and Heat Recovery Units within the HVAC system
Advanced cladding technology ensuring low air permeability
Foot and cycle facilities and links to commuter routes

Our developments are subject to robust testing for sustainability and energy efficiency. By meeting or exceeding key assessment benchmarks we ensure that our developments deliver market leading sustainability and ESG-RI credentials.

Targeting rigorous environmental standards

All new build projects are subject to a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method with a target of achieving a ‘Very Good’ rating as a minimum.

Intensive modelling for energy efficiency

All new projects are modelled at design stage and post-construction to achieve a Building Emission Rate below the Target Emission Rate, achieving a minimum EPC ‘A’ Rating.

Low air permeability design & testing

Minimising uncontrolled air leakage is essential for energy efficiency in any new build. We carry out thorough air permeability testing on all new projects.

Wherever possible we engage with stakeholders and local communities at an early stage to help shape design and mitigate any perceived negative impacts of a new development.
